In 1996, the GFWC Palm Harbor Junior Woman's Club, Inc. (hereafter referred to as GFWC Palm Harbor JWC, Inc.) established the "Making a Difference Community Grant Program in order to allow to fruits of our labor and service to touch the lives of as many people in our community as possible. By offering funding to other organizations, it is as if our hands are multiplied many times throughout our community. We believe that through this program we can truly make a difference.

Making a Difference Community Grant Program Application

“Making a Difference” Community Grants:
The GFWC Palm Harbor Junior Women’s Club awards monetary grants to qualified non-profit organizations that demonstrate service to the Tampa Bay community.

The Palm Harbor Junior Women's Club was established in 1982, as a volunteer women's service organization. The Club's goals are to provide to the community: volunteer service, education, funding, leadership development, and friendship.

One of the group's major fund-raiser is the annual “Taste of Palm Harbor.” Funds raised by the Taste events are distributed to the community through the Club's, “Making a Difference” Community Grants Program. In addition, the club members also serve special needs and programs in the areas of, the Arts, Health, Conservation, Education, Home Life, and International Affairs.
